It’s felt like a long time coming, but fall is finally here. Leaves are beginning to change and the smells are familiar. I’ve been on a little hiatus from fishing the last 2 months. There have been some causal bass outings here and there but nothing serious. With the extra time I’ve been getting gear ready for the upland season. Grouse opened on Sept 15th and so far the season hasn’t disappointed. The rumblings are the bird populations are on the decline but we have yet to see this. In 6 outings we’ve put in we’ve seen no less the 15-20+ partridge per outing, and have actually knocked a few down.
Fall has returned in all it’s glory and as always it always feels like a new life.
