Earlier in the week the weather looked cloudy and warm, couldn’t be better for pulling bugs. One thing I’ve learned in Michigan is to be prepared for all things at all times and this weekend was no exception. The temps at my house were going to be close to 60. Two hours north we fished in a high of 40 for the day. It was cold, sleeting and rained. It was perfect.
We were on a river neither one of us had been on so expectations were low. We spent about 10 hours floating and a moving fish wasn’t an issue, connecting was. We ended up with a handful of trout but our numbers should have been better. I captured a little bit of video that sums up the day.
